The Town of Spring Lake Water Department is located inside of our Town Hall which is located at 300 Ruth Street in Spring Lake.
We offer a full service drive-thru window located just to the side of our Town Hall building for convenient payments and transactions, and our office hours are
Monday – Friday 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., except holidays.

IF YOUR SERVICES HAVE BEEN DISCONNECTED AND YOU HAVE MADE A PAYMENT, YOU MUST NOTIFY THE OFFICE OF YOUR PAYMENT.

IF IT IS AFTER HOURS, ON A WEEKEND, OR ON AN OBSERVED HOLIDAY CLOSURE, YOU MUST NOTIFY THE OFFICE ON THE FIRST BUSINESS DAY FOLLOWING THE CLOSURE.
THERE ARE NO AUTOMATIC RECONNECTIONS.

RECONNECTS ARE SCHEDULED AFTER YOUR PAYMENT VERIFICATION HAS BEEN MADE.

We’ve made it easy for you…..

Online: Online payments are accepted 24 hours a day, seven days a week when you use our online BILLPAY service that is available to all customers.
(Please note that a convenience fee of $4.50 will be added to all credit card payments made using the online service.)

Bank Draft: If you prefer to pay your bill through an automatic monthly bank draft, all you need to do is print out the Bank Draft Enrollment
form and return it to us by either USPS mail or via an email by sending it to: waterdepartment@townofspringlake.com.

In person: Visit us at the Utility Customer Service Department, located inside of our Town Hall located at 300 Ruth Street in
Spring Lake. Upon entering the front of the building, take the hallway to your right and then as you round the corner you will see our window.

Secure Payment Drop Boxes: We offer two different secure drop boxes for you to drop your payments off at any time.
The first one is located in the drive thru payment lane located on the right hand side of the Town Hall,
with the second one being located in the EXIT lane of the parking lot directly across the street from the Town Hall.
Payments are collected Monday through Friday only, and during normal business hours.

Remember to please allow enough time for the postal service to deliver your payment before it is due.

When to pay:

The current charges due on your bill are payable when you receive the bill. Bills are mailed by the 3rd day of each month and all balances are due on or before the 10th day of the month.
Current charges are considered delinquent after the date shown as the due date. Accounts are considered delinquent if payments are not received by the 18th day of the month.
Your account may be charged a $25.00 late fee if payments are not received by the 18th of the month.
If the account remains unpaid following the close of business on the 25th of the month, your service is subject to disconnection and may not be turned back on until the next business day.
Any late penalties that are included on your bill as well as a reconnect fee must be paid before service will be restored.
The Revenue Department may attempt a call using our automated system to a phone number provided by the customer alerting you as to the planned date of disconnection.
It is the responsibility of the account holder to ensure all information, including any telephone numbers, are accurate and current.

Some Friendly Reminders:

Establishing a new account or transferring an account requires a photo ID, an up-to-date copy of your lease, deed, or contract, as well as your determined deposit amount.
Deposits are $50.00 for homeowners, $100 for renters, and $150.00 for business accounts. Plus a $20.00 service fee.
Should you choose to utilize our Online payment system, please note that your payment may takeup to two (2) business days to post to your account, and if it has not posted prior to the the disconnect list being generated, you may experience a disruption in your service.
