Code Enforcement is out working hard this year to keep our Town looking clean. Please keep your yards in compliance with the Town’s ordinance. Below is a list of violations that the Code Enforcement can write a citation.
Grass/Trash – The existing conditions, specifically the accumulation of trash, junk, grass and weeds in the excess of twelve inches
Nuisance Vehicle – A breeding ground for pest, high weed/grass under or around vehicle, collection for pools of water, a danger of falling or turning over.
Junk Motor Vehicle – A vehicle that appears inoperable as evidenced by stationary characteristics of being dismantled/wrecked, cannot be moved, more than 5 years old and appears worth less than $100.00, does not display a current license plate.
Violators can be charged a $100.00 civil penalty per day until the violation is abated.
