Did you know that Spring Lake has a Farmer’s Market? The Sandhills Farmer’s Market is open each Saturday from 9-1 and from June through September, and is located at 230 Chapel Hill Rd. right off of Hwy 87/ Bragg Blvd.
Each Saturday they offer up fresh and local produce, crafts, local wares and artisans, as well as short story times (last week a Spring Lake librarian was on hand), and often times demonstrations or small hisotry lessons..AND…..if you have EBT, they will DOUBLE your money on any produce that you buy, too!
A quick reminder, though, that due to the 4th of July holiday, they will not be open this Saturday, but they will be back up and running on Saturday July 9th.
