Park Facilities

 


Mendoza Park
Located on Highway 87 just south of the Cumberland/Harnett County line, Mendoza Park is a beautiful and spacious facility.  It is an ideal place to escape the pressures of the day and relax, or play with your children and have a fun time outdoors.  This is one of several facilities offered for the enjoyment of the citizens of Spring Lake and the surrounding area.

Amenities include :

  • Three baseball/softball fields
  • Three picnic areas
  • A large playground area with swings, slides, and deck systems
  • A large open space area
  • An area for leisure walking
  • Restroom facilities
  • Park benches
  • Concessions

Shelter Rentals at Mendoza Park
One shelter is $50 per hour (4 hour limit.)  One shelter will accommodate approximately 30 individuals.  If not reserved, the shelters are on a first come first serve basis.

Ball Field Rentals at Mendoza Park
A single ball field is $100 for one day if light usage is not needed.  An additional $20 per hour if lights are needed.

Wilson Avenue Park
A fenced neighborhood park that offers a nice playground, open space and picnic area.

Odell Road Park
Playground equipment and open space

Ruth Street Park
This park is located directly across the street from the Multipurpose Community Center and offers the following:

  • Two basketball courts
  • Two tennis courts
  • Playground equipment
  • Open space and picnic area

Our Splash Pad located adjacent to the Ruth St. playground equipment. Admission is free. No lifeguard on duty. Children must be attended by an adult under the age of 15.

 

 

 

 

Hours are: Mon-Fri 10-8, Sat 10-6, and Sun 1-6  May through September
