Oct 15th is the last day to apply for the $335 grant for qualified children

Today is the last day for parents or families with qualified school-aged children to make sure they have applied for the $335 grant being sent out by state of North Carolina as part of the Coronavirus Relief Act 3.0 signed by Governor Cooper in September in an effort to help with the cost of remote learning and / or childcare during the Coronavirus pandemic.

The grant amount totals $335 per eligible individual and will be sent automatically to those who filed a 2019 state tax return.

Those who were not required to file a 2019 tax return, have until Oct. 15 to apply for the grant.
