As the holiday quickly approaches, local and state health officials are reminding us to stay safe while we celebrate.
Cumberland County has reported 430 new cases and 7 additional deaths since last Friday’s report.
These numbers are reflecting what they believe to be the result of Thanksgiving “get together’s”, and they say that we need to celebrate this upcoming holiday just a little bit different until we are able to gain control of the virus, and practice the three “W’s”.
Dr. Jennifer Green, Cumberland County Health Director, reminded our community “that we are close to the finish line with the approaching vaccine, but it’s critical to act now”.
