Drive-Thru COVID-19 Test Collection at Manna Church Updated Test Locations
Beginning Tuesday, June 15, the Cumberland County Department of Public Health will conduct drive-thru test collection for COVID-19 by appointment at two locations, while supplies last and staffing is available.On Tuesdays, test collection will be conducted at:Manna Church

9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Testing is free.

To protect the health and safety of our staff and clients, test collection is by drive-up appointment only (walk-ins cannot be accommodated at this time). Appointments are available for those individuals over the age of 13 who meet the following criteria.

  1. Any individual over the age of 13 experiencing COVID-19 symptoms*
  2. Individuals without symptoms but who have been in close contact (within 6 feet for 15 minutes or longer) with someone who tested positive COVID-19 in the last 14 days. If you are not having symptoms, you should wait 6 days after your last exposure to get tested.
  3. Regardless of symptoms, anyone over the age of 13, at higher risk of exposure or at higher risk for severe disease
  • Persons who live or work in a long-term care facility, homeless shelter, correctional facility, or migrant farmworker camp
  • People over age 65
  • People with underlying health conditions who are at high risk for severe illness
  • Persons from historically marginalized populations
  • Healthcare workers or first responders (e.g. EMS, law enforcement, fire department, military)
  • Front-line and essential workers (grocery store clerks, gas station attendants, childcare staff, etc.) in settings where social distancing is difficult to maintain. Individuals who have attended protests, rallies, or other mass gatherings in crowds where it is difficult to practice effective social distancing.

If you meet these criteria, follow these steps to schedule an appointment:

1. Follow this link to complete the online assessment tool on your computer, smart phone or tablet: Online Assessment Tool

  • You will need your insurance information to fill in the assessment.**If you do not have insurance, you are still able to be tested at no cost.
  • The online assessment will prompt you to fill in and digitally sign all consent forms and privacy/confidentiality documents. **Please complete the full assessment and digitally sign all documents. If you are unable to digitally sign or you need assistance filling in the online assessment, please call 910-678-7657.

2. Once your online assessment is completed, you will be prompted to schedule your appointment online.

  • If you have a need for more than one person in your household to be tested, complete an individual online assessment and supporting documents for each person needing testing.
    *You will not need a new appointment time for each person. Only ONE appointment time is needed per vehicle.
  • Individuals must be seated next to a window that can be rolled down to be tested.

You DO NOT need insurance to get a test. The test is free. Insurance information does not affect eligibility or scheduling. If you have insurance it will be billed, BUT YOU WILL NOT BE CHARGED
(no co-pay, etc.)

 

 

What to expect when you arrive:

  • Bring your ID to confirm your appointment.
  • Check your appointment location! Testing on Tuesdays is a Manna Church.
    Testing on Thursdays is at Cumberland County Health Department.
  • Help protect the public and our staff.
  • Please do not arrive without a completed assessment and one appointment only for your vehicle.  We are unable to accommodate individuals without an appointment. Vehicles with more than one person needing testing should complete an assessment form for EACH person and only ONE appointment time.

  • When you arrive, stay in your vehicle. There will be staff available to guide you through the line and do the test collection from your vehicle.
  • Individuals that need to be tested should be seated next to a window that rolls down
  • Please do not put others at risk – do not take public transportation or a ride share (Uber, Lyft, taxi cab, etc.)
  • Do not bring pets in your vehicle to the test site
  • You will receive an email confirming your appointment time. You can use this email to cancel or reschedule your appointment time, if needed.
  • Results are typically available in 5-7 business days. The increase in COVID-19 testing has created a nationwide shortage of supplies needed to process COVID-19 tests. There may be a delay in receiving your test results.
  • If you consider yourself in need of COVID-19 testing, you are declaring you should self-quarantine. You can expect to confirm your willingness to immediately be quarantined in your home for at least 10 days and longer if your symptoms do not get better.
  • To protect the health and safety of staff and others being tested, public restrooms will not be available on site.
  • To comply with federal and state privacy laws, audio and video recording is not permitted on the premises. Media will be permitted to record before and after the conclusion of the event or off premises.
  • If you begin having severe symptoms, don’t wait for your appointment. Call 911 or call ahead then go to the Emergency Room.
  • Test collection sites are held outdoors and dependent upon the weather. In case of weather events (rain, strong winds, cold weather, etc.), check the Cumberland County COVID-19 website and social media pages for information about cancellations.
