Cooling Stations Available in Cumberland Through July 14

The National Weather Service in Raleigh has issued a heat advisory from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday July 9. In addition, there is a hazardous weather outlook through Sunday, July 14 with heat index values ranging from the upper 90s to as high as 106 degrees. Cumberland County and the City of Fayetteville will open cooling stations over the coming days for residents who do not have access to air conditioning and need a place to get out of the heat…
