Attention Citizens ~ Water Department Important Information

Here’s useful information regarding your local water department. These are some valuable tips to hold onto to so, please take a moment to peruse this announcement:

You have the option to click on the “Try QuickPay” tab to pay your water bill. To complete the payment, it will require the first 3 letters of your street name and your account number. Your account number is still the same as before.

Also, you can “Create a Profile” which will give you access to new features regarding your water/sewer bill, to include prior bills and usage.

Meters are read every month, and these reads are transferred into the billing system. Readings are not estimated, you are billed for the exact usage on your meter. When reads are higher than normal, a reread is completed and the customer is left a door hanger. It is the customer’s responsibility to look for any signs of leaks on their property. An increase in usage may come from children being out of school, watering the grass, washing vehicles, running toilets, and dripping faucets. These can cause an influx in your water bill. The town does offer leak adjustments with proper documentation for leaks that have been repaired. If you notice that you have a runny toilet or a leaky faucet, let the town’s water administration know and we will review your account for an adjustment. It is very important that you contact the water department with any issues you may have with your water/sewer bill. They are here to help you, as they are trained, qualified, and are the ones that can directly and accurately answer any questions you have regarding your water/sewer bills. Also, the phone lines are very busy at times, and you may not be able to get through; so, if it is not regarding a disconnection or reconnection, please send an email to waterdepartment@townofspringlake.com

Here are some important dates to remember each month concerning your water bill:

10th – Water bills are due

18th – Last day to pay without a fee

19th – late fees are added

26th – all accounts with unpaid balances, are subject to disconnect

Remember, water is a precious resource, and we all play a role in its responsible usage. For more information and updates, visit https://www.townofspringlake.com/water-department/ website.
