NC State and CDC COVID-19 Guidance for the public

The current global pandemic brought on by the respiratory illness known as the Coronavirus, or COVID 19,  has taken hold of everyone in our nation.

The President of the United States declared a national emergency for the United States on March 13, 2020 based on the need to keep all of us safe during this time.

This means that we all have a role to play in being proactive and trying to help to lessen the impact of spreading the illness, trying to reduce possible social and economic impact, and overall protect us as a nation and a community.

The Center for Disease Control has launched a website dedicated to the Coronavirus, and it contains vital information on what we need to do to arm ourselves with the correct knowledge that will help us as a community and a nation persevere as we try to keep our families safe here at home.

Please visit  the CDC site at: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/community/index.html
