The Town of Spring Lake, our Board of Aldermen, our Mayor, Town Manager, and all other staff sends our deepest sympathies and condolences to the family of Mrs. Porcha McMillan.
Sadly, Mrs. McMillan passed away Tuesday.
A member of the Cumberland County Board of Education since 2016, she spent most of her life fighting for the children, believing that they all deserve an education.
She was active in her community as well as throughout the state of N.C. with the knowledge and passion she possessed for her work.
She was just 44 years old.
