Effective Tuesday, February 19th, 2019….the gate for Fort Bragg, located on West Manchester Rd., will be OPEN now from 0500 hours until 1900 hours, Monday-Friday only. No weekends or holidays at this point.
For us non-military folks, that is from 5 a.m. through 7 p.m. daily.
As many of you know, the limited times that the gates have been operating on as of late have caused some serious issues for our local businesses, our residents, as well as our military who are part of our community here in Spring Lake.
Our Town officials, to include our Mayor Larry G. Dobbins, our Town Manager Daniel B.Gerald, and your Board of Alderman have all been working diligently to make this happen, and we are all thankful for their hard work.
