We would like to share some information with the Spring Lake community on some of the MOST IMPORTANT safety laws for our roads:
SCHOOL BUS LAWS !!!!!
These buses carry some pretty precious cargo….our children, our grandchildren, our nieces and nephews, cousins, neighbors, and friends.
Do you know what is the right or wrong thing to do?
We have many, many complaints weekly about vehicles either passing or not stopping for our school buses right here in SPRING LAKE! Yes…. Right here. In Spring Lake where our children are the passengers.
I think that sometimes if your children are grown, if they’re too little yet, if you drive them to school yourself, maybe they drive themselves, or you just haven’t had to pay attention to a school bus in a long while, we tend to get a little lax on paying attention.
