Spring Lake Transit becomes non-operational

It is with a heavy heart that we must announce that the Town of Spring Lake will no longer be able to offer the Spring Lake Transit system that provides transportation and rides in the Spring Lake or Fayetteville area,  due to a lack of funding in our budget. Service will stop today.

Please know that every effort was made, every stone unturned, and that hours of hard work were put in by the Town of Spring Lake,  as well as the vendor, to try to find  an alternative to offer to the residents, and unfortunately, at this time, we have not been able to secure other options.

We realize that this may impose a hardship on many residents, and we hope that everyone can understand. We have tried to provide valuable information for anyone seeking alternate transportation in enough time that other arrangements can be made to assist you with your transportation needs.
