Annual Spring Litter Sweep & Hazardous Household Waste Pick up

Volunteers will meet at the Senior Enrichment Center for light breakfast/refreshments as well as all the supplies needed to be successful as they venture out to designated areas to “sweep” our Community clean of debris and discarded products littering the beautiful scenic streets of our Town. We need as many hands on deck as possible to make this worthwhile venture as successful as possible, so make plans to join us as we take the day before Earth Day and dedicate just a few hours to pound the pavement to make it happen.

At the same time as our volunteers are tirelessly working, residents will have the opportunity to drop off the Hazardous Household Waste they have been collecting over the past year to properly dispose of by driving through the parking lot across from Town Hall. Trained professionals will be on hand to gather the materials from you and properly dispose of it.

Residents will also have the opportunity to drop off e-waste (any  device with a power cord) and old tires. Staff will be on hand to remove these items from your vehicle as you drive into the parking lot without you having to get out of your vehicle.
