Health Department will beging drive-thru COVID testing again

COVID UPDATE: NEWS RELEASE FOR CUMBERLAND COUNTY RESIDENTS 8/20/2021

The Cumberland County Health Department will start offering free COVID testing once again,
and the City of Fayetteville’s mask mandate will go into effect today, Friday August 20th at 5 p.m.

Testing will be conducted in a drive through style at 1235 Ramsey Street in Parking Lot D.
This will be done on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The county’s positive COVID rate is currently at 15.7% with 38 deaths reported in the last 5 weeks. 
Vaccines are readily available, and if you are interested in the third vaccine, the mRNA COVID 19,
you will find information in the attached News Release.
